Changing your diet and lifestyle is a tried and true method of weight loss, but there’s no doubt that there are hundreds of programs to choose from. Every diet and exercise plan seems to offer a different solution and sometimes, the advice is contradictory. Should you eat low carb and high fat or high carb and low fat? How about following a vegan or “paleo” diet? AAAAHHHH!!!!!

Ultimately, the way to lose weight is to develop eating and workout habits that fits right with your personal lifestyle and preferences, while still reducing the amount of calories you take in. A plant-based diet won’t work well if you’re a die-hard meat fan, and a plan that requires extensive meal prep won’t work if you lead an extremely busy lifestyle.

On my fitness blog, I strive to take the guess work out of dieting for you. I look at all of the most popular diets, summarize them so that you don’t have to waste time reading books that aren’t right for you, and help you find the program that’s going to fit you.

Warning You of Dangers

Most diets have a healthy focus on modifying the way that you eat and helping you develop healthier habits. Others can be downright dangerous. I’ll try to let you know about any warnings that come with a particular diet plan, especially those that require you to take special supplements. Remember to always consult your physician, too! When you use my reviews, you’ll know upfront about what dangers lurk behind certain diet plans and how you can find better alternatives.
